Only background-checked, named staff may enter. Visitors are not permitted. Entry is logged.
Continuous video record
Every device handling is recorded and retained for the audit period. Recordings are encrypted at rest.
Sealed evidence bags
Devices arrive sealed and remain sealed between handling sessions. Seal numbers match the audit log.
Signed audit log
Each action — opening, attempted unlock, execution, disposal — is signed by two staff and the case ID.
Chain of custody
Each step is signed.
Step 1
Intake receipt: parcel scanned, seal verified, photographed against the executor's manifest.
Step 2
Identity verification: case-file cross-check confirms client, device IDs, and elected instruction.
Step 3
Authorized action: passcode attempted up to three times — on failure, default deletion is executed.
Step 4
Disposal or return: device shredded, wiped, or sealed for return with a tracked, insured carrier.
Step 5
Closure: certificate issued to the executor; case file sealed and retained for the audit period.
